Stand Mounted Chlorinator
Free-standing chlorinator on its own base stand, suited for installations where cylinder-side mounting isn't practical.
Operating principle
How it works
Gas source
Chlorine, sulphur dioxide or ammonia is drawn under vacuum from the cylinder or tonner through PVC-coated copper tubing
Filtration
Gas passes through an integral filter where moisture and foreign particulates are removed
Regulation
A differential vacuum regulator and calibrated flow meter control the gas flow rate precisely
Injection
Gas mixes with motive water at the injector and is carried as a solution to the point of application
Process flow
Safety system
Automatic Fail-Safe Protection
If motive water pressure drops or the vacuum line is interrupted, the inlet valve automatically closes and safely vents the system - even with the cylinder valve still open. This prevents uncontrolled gas release and eliminates risk during supply interruptions. No operator action is required.

Detailed Overview
SM-108 Vacuum-Feed Gas Chlorinator — Continuous Duty Chlorine, Sulphur Dioxide & Ammonia Dosing The SM-108 SBM Chlorinator is a fully vacuum-operated gas dosing system engineered for continuous, constant-rate injection of chlorine, sulphur dioxide, or ammonia gas. Designed for water treatment, effluent disinfection, and industrial gas dosing applications, it delivers precise, fail-safe chemical feed with no risk of pressurised gas release downstream. How the SM-108 Gas Chlorinator Works Gas drawn from a cylinder or tonner travels through PVC-coated copper tubing to an integral gas filter, where moisture and particulates are removed before dosing begins. Flow is then regulated through a differential vacuum regulator and calibrated flow meter, before the gas is mixed with motive water at the injector and carried to the point of application. The system includes a vacuum controller chamber, flow meter, gas flow control valve, chlorine and water pressure gauges, a gas filter, and a motive-water injector — all housed in a compact, field-serviceable assembly. Automatic Fail-Safe Isolation If motive water pressure drops or the vacuum line becomes blocked, the SM-108's inlet valve automatically closes and safely vents the system — even with the cylinder valve open. This built-in vacuum-failure protection prevents uncontrolled gas release and eliminates the need for operator intervention during supply interruptions.
