How it works
Gas source
Pressurised motive water passes through the injector, creating a vacuum that opens the spring-loaded diaphragm check valve
Filtration
Chlorine passes through a self-aligned yoke gas filter, removing moisture and foreign particles
Regulation
A regulator controls cylinder pressure while a flow meter allows precise adjustment
Injection
Gas mixes with motive water at the injector and is carried as a solution to the application point

Automatic Fail-Safe Protection
If the vacuum line breaks, the system automatically shuts off the chlorine gas supply. The spring-loaded diaphragm check valve closes instantly, preventing any uncontrolled gas release even with the cylinder valve still open.

Detailed Overview
The SM-117 Cylinder Mounted Chlorinator is developed to work as a safe, space-saving chlorinator comprising a flow control valve, vacuum regulator, rotameter and yoke clamp for direct connection to the cylinder — along with an injector assembly vent, 5-metre vacuum tubing and a gas filter. Pressurised motive water passes through the injector, creating a vacuum that opens the spring-loaded diaphragm check valve; chlorine then passes through a self-aligned yoke gas filter, a regulator that controls cylinder pressure, and a flow meter for adjustment — and if the vacuum line breaks, the system automatically shuts off the chlorine gas supply. Suited to water filtration plants, cooling water systems, sewage treatment plants, industrial effluent treatment and swimming pools.
